‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ reveals new characters ahead of series premiere

The eighth season of 'AHS' kicks off tonight (12 September) in the US.

After one of the most fan-pleasing build-ups in years, the eagerly-anticipated eigth eason of American Horro Story kicks off tonight in the US (12 September).

With all the excitement surrounding the fact that AHS: Apocalypse will feature as crossover with two of the horror anthology series’ most popular instalments – 2011’s Murder House and 2013’s Coven – it’s been easy to forget that the new series will feature a brand new cast of characters alongside the old fan favourites (come through, Madison Montgomery).

Ahead of the season’s return, FX have unveiled official cast images for the colourful array of characters who form the central storyline of events in Apocalypse.

One notable omission is that of Dame Joan Collins, who we saw breifly in the series trailer and who’ll be guest starring as the “glamours” grandmother of Evan Peters’ new character, who we now know is called Mr Gallant.

Sarah Paulson as Ms. Wilhemina Venable. The AHS legend will also reprise her role as Murder House‘s Billie Dean Howard and Coven’s Cordelia Goode.

Kathy Bates as  Ms. Miriam Mead.

Series newcomer Kyle Allen as Timothy Campbell.

Adina Porter as Dinah Stevens.

Billie Lourd as Mallory.

Cody Fearn as Michael Langdon, the son of Murder House‘s Tate Langdon and Vivien Harmon.

Evan Peters as Mr. Gallant. The actor will also repirse his role as Murder House’s Tate Langdon.

Leslie Grossman as Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt.

AHS newcomer Ashley Santos as Emily.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres tonnight (September 12) on FX in the US and September 24 in the UK.
