‘All Stars 4’ shock returning queen elimination twist revealed

Things are about to get interesting.

By Will Stroude

Following last week’s shock All Stars 4 cliff-hanger, which saw Ru announce that All Stars rules had been temporarily suspended as the four eliminated queens sashayed back into the workroom dolled up to the nines, we’ve finally been told just what the heck is going on.

In a newly-released preview of episode six, set to air in the US on Friday (18 January), Ru reveals that the remaining All Stars will have to defend themselves from being bumped from the competition by their former rivals in a head-to-head lipcync knockout battle.

The so-called ‘Lip Sync LaLaPaRuZa’ will see each eliminated contestant – starting with Latrice Royale and working back to first eliminee Jasmine Master – choose an All Star to lipsync against.

Should the eliminated queen win the contest (a decision we assume will be decided by Ru), then they’ll take the current All Star’s place in the competition.

Given that there are four eliminated queens and six active All Stars, we thinks it’s fair to assume that last week’s challenge winners Manila Luzon and Monét X Change will be immune, but considering Ru probably has Michelle Visage and Ross Matthews throwing the Drag Race rulebook into a furnace out back at this point, who knows what’s coming.

One thing we do know is that all will be revealed when RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 continues on Friday at 8pm ET/PT on VH1 in the US and on Saturday at 1.30am on Comedy Central in the UK.
