Big Brother star Zelah Glasson is engaged to partner Francesca
“I would not be the man I am today if it was not for you," Glasson wrote in his engagement announcement

Big Brother star Zelah Glasson has announced that he and his partner Francesca are engaged after he proposed to her in Canada.
The former 2025 Big Brother contestant proposed to his partner of five years at Barrier Lake, sharing photos of the romantic proposal on Instagram.
“Five years ago, I went out on a rugby social dressed as a laundry basket and met someone who I instantly clicked with,” Glasson wrote in the caption.
“At the time I thought I’d found a best friend. I wanted to be around her constantly, and I had this feeling she would be in my life forever,” he continued.

Glasson acknowledged Francesca’s support through his transition, saying she had loved him as a woman and supported him through surgeries and hormones.
“We have grown together and we have laughed so many times that I never need to train abs again,” he wrote.
“I would not be the man I am today if it was not for you. You are everything I needed as a kid, and everything I want in a wife,” Glasson concluded.
Friends and fans celebrate the engagement
The post was met with a wave of support from friends and fans, including Attitude Pride Award winner Caroline Litman, Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches and many more.
Glasson has previously spoken openly about his transition during his time in the Big Brother house in 2025.
During his time on the show, he spoke about being misgendered and recalled an incident in which he was allegedly dragged out of a women’s bathroom. He also opened up about his hopes of one day starting a family with Francesca.
“Something that I might look into is getting my eggs taken out so Francesca can carry my egg. That way, our baby will have 50 per cent of my DNA, but she gets to carry it. That’s what she wants – she really wants to do it that way,” he said.
