Jordan Stephens brings godfather David McAlmont on stage to accept the Ally Award at the Attitude Awards 2026

Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens was the recipient of the Ally Award, supported by Polestar, at the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards 2026, in partnership with M&S and electrified by Polestar.
The rapper, musician and actor was honoured at the 15th anniversary of the Attitude Awards, hosted at London’s Roundhouse on 7 October.
Radio host Dean McCullough and Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu were there to introduce Stephens to the stage, celebrating his advocacy for a community he has continued to speak out for throughout his career.

With an eruption of applause, Stephens collected his award: “It honestly, genuinely means the fucking world to me to get this. Being an ally, to me, doesn’t feel like a challenge, because I genuinely love the fucking community from the bottom of my heart.”
Honouring those who made an impact on his life as an ally, he thanked his godfather, David McAlmont. “I want to give him his flowers. He doesn’t want to say anything, but he looks fucking amazing. He’s a fucking legend.”
Bringing him on stage with him, Stephens continued: “One last thing: shout out to Jade [Thirlwall]. I love Jade,” he said.

Stephens is among the star-studded list of winners at the 2026 Attitude Awards, alongside Donatella Versace, David Furnish, Michael Johnston, Suzi Ruffell and more.
To mark his Ally Award win, Stephens also featured on the cover of Attitude magazine, where he opened up about his ex-girlfriend and their shared support for the LGBTQ+ community.
