Watch Andrew Scott accept Attitude’s Style & Culture Award

By Attitude Magazine

Sherlock

and Pride actor Andrew Scott took home the Style & Culture prize at the Attitude Awards on Monday (October 13).

Fellow actor and co-creator of Sherlock Mark Gatiss presented Andrew with his award at the event in Banqueting House in central London. Mark described Andrew as “one of the most lovely and talented actors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with”, before adding: “He’s also a very naughty man!”

Paying tribute to the real-life heroes of the film Pride, Andrew then told the audience: “True progress and liberty is won not through separatism or fear-mongering, but through kindness, solidarity and compassion. Gay people can be represented not just for their sexuality, but for their humanity.”
