Supernatural‘s Misha Collins has appeared to have casually come out as bisexual during a recent convention appearance.

In a video uploaded to Twitter on Saturday (23 April) the actor, 47, is seen giving a speech at the Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural Official Convention where he questioned the audience about whether they were introverts, extroverts, and bisexuals.

Misha, who hasn’t elaborated on his comments, played Castiel in the CW’s series who came out as gay moments before he died in the final season in 2020.

“I’m all three”

In the video Misha is seen asking people: “How many of you would consider yourself introverts? And how many bisexuals?” which leads to a big cheer from the crowd before he laughs it off saying, “I’m all three.”

He then says: “See, it would have been weird if I just said: ‘By a show of hands, how many bisexuals are in the audience?’ But I’d rather do it as a questionnaire, that’s more socially acceptable.”

Reacting to the possible confirmation of the actor’s sexuality, one person commented on the video: “This makes me so happy. Misha deserves to be himself and not worry.”

Another added: “He is so boss I love him for this”

Addressing his character’s coming out Misha told Subjectify media: “I like that Cas is a queer icon. I’m proud of him and his journey, and honored that so many people seem to have found something in his story that resonates with them.”

The character told Dean Winchester: “I love you. Goodbye, Dean.” before he sacrificed himself.

The Attitude May/June issue featuring the cast of Heartstopper is out now.
