We’ve been inundated with entries in our search to find Attitude‘s Most Stylish Reader, in association with The Idle Man, and finally the time has come to crown the winner – who’ll receive a photo shoot in the pages of Attitude as well as £500 to spend online with The Idle Man.

We all had our favourites out of the ten shortlisted finalists (and you can click here if you need reminding of them), but after hours of heated discussion, hair-pulling and name-calling, ultimately it came down to Attitude‘s Fashion Editor, Joseph Kocharian, to pick a winner…

So we’re pleased to announce that Attitude’s Most Stylish Reader, in association with The Idle Man, has been won by Myles Brown!

Congratulations to all our entrants and finalists – and if you didn’t win, don’t despair, because all entrants get a 20% discount at The Idle Man using the code ‘Attitude’ at the checkout.

Our Fashion Editor, Joseph Kocharian, explained:

“I’ve picked Myles because it’s not just dressing up in a suit that gets our attention. I’m a big fan of a plain white T-shirt, and sometimes it’s really about how you dress around that and style your outfit. Myles’ colour palette here is understated, but looks considered and works brilliantly as an ensemble. Simplicity works: Myles looks like he would fit right in at Stockholm Fashion Week or on the streets of super-cool Copenhagen. It’s sometimes more difficult to pull off a casual look with aplomb than it is with formal wear. Bonus points for the great boots, too!”

Find out a bit more about Myles by reading his answers to the style-related questions we asked all our finalists below:

Name: Myles
Age: 24
Location: London

What would you describe your signature style as?
“East meets street. Simple day-wear with a lot of black, and for evening-wear something a bit louder but sharp and sophisticated.”

What is your favourite piece of clothing, and why?
“A coat I picked up in Norway. It’s a Stutterheim rubberised cotton raincoat in black. I saw a guy rocking it in yellow whilst out and about in Oslo, and actually chased him down to find out where he got it! It was love at first sight. It’s practical, lightweight and goes with everything.”

What one item would you pick from our sponsors The Idle Man and why?idle man
“Loving the purple slashes on this sweatshirt/pant combo. It’s gorgeous as a two-piece.”

Do you have a favourite part of the Attitude Style and Fashion pages?
“I love how Attitude doesn’t discriminate. It ranges from high street to designer with a flick of the page. It gives every reader more reason to get excited about fashion.”

What’s the worst fashion faux-pas you’ve ever made?
“Probably the first time I ever went to a club. I was far too young to be there anyway, and I definitely had no business turning up in light denim flares, a black and white vest combo with a black tie tucked underneath, a camel Kangol flat cap and a sweatband on my wrist!”

Who is your style icon?
“I wouldn’t say I have a specific style icon. But I think London is one of the most stylish and inspiring cities in the world. The fact that menswear is explored and celebrated here more so now than ever is excuse enough to always go out looking your best, feeling great and having fun with what you wear – ‘you’re born naked and the rest is drag!'”

Keep a look out for Myles’ winning photo shoot – styled by our Fashion Editor in clothing from The Idle Man – in the pages of Attitude soon.
