See Mariah ride the NYC subway in a sequinned gown

Mariah Carey graced the New York City subway in a ballgown earlier this week.
The legendary diva was headed to the Big Apple’s Chelsea Piers on Thursday (May 29) when she decided to live like us common folk for an evening and ride the subway – in a sequinned blue gown.
Thankfully, she documented her journey on Instagram – check out her first picture below:
She then posted a second picure along with the incredible caption “Laughing pon de subway”:
Carey released her new album Me. I am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse earlier this week – and it looks set to debut at number three on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. The album is the 14th of Carey’s career and her first aside from a Christmas album since 2009′s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
