Sam Smith to feature in UK’s first live music advert

Sam Smith is taking part in the UK’s first live music advert this week.
The singer – who released his debut album In The Lonely Hour yesterday (May 26) – has partnered up with Channel 4 and Google Play Music for the special project.
The commercial will air during Alan Carr: Chatty Man on Friday (May 30). It will feature Smith performing his latest single Stay With Me live at London’s Roundhouse, according to BBC News.
“It’s incredible to be part of a UK first,” Sam said.
Stay With Me became Sam’s third UK number one single over the weekend, following previous release Money on My Mind and Naughty Boy’s 2013 single La La La, which he provided guest vocals for.
Alan Carr: Chatty Man airs on Friday at 10pm on Channel 4.
