Paloma Faith is on course to score her first Number One on the UK’s Official Singles Chart this Sunday (September 21).

The singer’s collaboration with British drum and bass duo Sigma, Changing, is leading the pack in the midweek update from the Official Charts Company – with Lullaby by Professor Green and Tori Kelly its nearest rival at number two.

Sigma previously topped the UK’s Official Singles Chart earlier this year with Nobody To Love, their reworking of Kanye West’s Bound 2. Faith’s best performing single to date is this year’s Only Love Can Hurt Like This, which peaked at Number Six and has now notched up 21 weeks on the chart.

Meanwhile, The Script are set to deny Barbra Streisand her fourth Number One on the UK’s Official Albums Chart. The diva’s new duets album Partners is at Number Two on the update – around 10,000 copies behind the Irish band’s new album No Sound Without Silence.

Meanwhile, Paloma Faith has recently announced a re-release of her latest album, A Perfect Contradiction, and a UK arena tour for next spring – click here for further details.
