Lana Del Rey’s new single is to be released tonight (April 9) according to reports.
A number of usually reliable fan sources are tweeting that West Coast, the lead single from the singer’s upcoming album Ultraviolence, will be made available to download from iTunes later on today.
Meanwhile, posters advertising Ultraviolence were put up in New York yesterday (April 8), further fuelling rumours that the album’s release is imminent.
In February, the singer told fans that they could expect her new album to hit shelves on May 1 – though this has yet to be confirmed officially by her record label.
Asked about her feelings for the new album, Lana Del Rey said in February: “It’s so good that it made me forget about the last record. I’m in love with it. I have that romantic feeling about it.”
Last month (March), Lana Del Rey was confirmed to be performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. The Born To Die singer will appear at Worthy Farm on Saturday, June 28.
