Joseph’s Picks:

M&S Collection Canvas Twill Holdall T09 4015M £59.00new

M&S do a great selection of bags that are simple and chic and durable. With everything from backpacks, suit carriers and weekend bags, I always spy something I like each season. This time it’s their M&S Collection canvas twill holdall for £59 at marksandspencer.com.

Another monochrome pick for me:  This Grey Cos rucksack has clean lines, it’s simple and no frills. The Scandinavian brand does minimal exceptionally well, choosing to play with  interesting fabrics and textures on their pieces. Cos Denim Bag for £99 at costores.com.

Gladstone have been going from strength to strength since they started.  The luxury accessories brand do function and fashion incredibly well (with a slew of tablet, laptop and gadget friendly bags.) These bags are a simple luxury. G10 Gym Bag by Gladstone, £750 gladstonelondon.com.

With the reiteration of the big brand and slogans from the 90’s, I’ve gone for this DSquared2 gym bag. The weather orange mixed with grey is a a great way of honouring the splash of slogan, so you can feel like Naomi or Kate when you rock up at the gym. Dsquared2 Antony Duffle Bag, £325 at Yoox.com.

My final pick is for when you want a bit of detailing. The Givenchy Obsedia bag with vertical bicolour stripes has just the right amount of detail to it.  givenchy.com

Nick’s Picks:

I love the simplicity of this navy H&M rucksack, the white stripes give it a clean, nautical look and the drawstrings on the zips add detail without adding fuss. H&M Rucksack, £19.99 hm.com.

Backpack £19.99new

Ive recently become obsessed with french label AMI. The French fashion label known for its effortless stylish pieces with a sporty tone always running through the collections and its accessories. I love the cobalt colour of this rucksuck. Its the perfect shade for Spring and will give any outfit and instant update – also loving the buckle details on the side. AMI Rucksack, £200 amiparis.fr.

4. This dreamy Loewe bag is more than just a fashion accessory – its a conceptual work of art! The luxury Italian leather folds over on one side to create an origami style. The bag comes in a range of colours and prints but this shade of teh red is the winner for me . Loewe Anton Backpack, £1625 loewe.com.
