Jennifer Lopez will release her first book later this year.

The singer will chronicle her “transformative two-year journey” as an artist and mother in True Love, which will be released on October 28.

According to Billboard, the book will be released in both English and Spanish, and will be written as a personal diary.

Lopez explained that the book will focus on how “she confronted her greatest challenges, identified her biggest fears, and ultimately emerged a stronger person than she’s ever been.”

Never-before-seen personal pictures of Lopez will also be included.

Lopez was honoured with the Icon Award at the Billboard Icon Awards on Sunday (May 18) and is currently preparing to release her new studio album.

A.K.A. will feature Lopez’s new single First Love, as well as I Luh Ya Papi and Same Girl. She has collaborated with Pitbull, French Montana, Iggy Azalea and T.I. on the record.
