Azalea asked Ora to sing on track because Perry was busy

Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea has revealed that she drafted in Rita Ora to sing on her track Black Widow because Katy Perry was busy.
Perry co-wrote the track – and rumoured future single – from Azalea’s debut album The New Classic, which debuted at number five on the UK’s Official Albums Chart last month (March).
“Katy couldn’t get time to sing on the track herself, so we wondered who else could do it,” Azalea recalled in an interview with the Daily Star.
“It needed someone who could really sing, as Katy’s voice is awesome. Rita is a great fit. Her voice can blow people away.”
Continuing, Azalea predicted big things for Ora, whose own single I Will Never Let You Down is released in the UK on May 12.
“Rita’s a superstar and she will only get bigger. She’s one of those girls that always gets the party started, she is so mischievous, it’s great going out with her,” the Aussie rapper said.
Meanwhile, Azalea’s current single Fancy, which features vocals from Charli XCX, has just become her first top ten hit in the US, climbing to number seven on the latest Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
