New Personal Shopping Space: 5 Carlos Place

Matches Fashion celebrate the opening of their new retail space with the showcasing of Prada's latest collection

By Nick Byam

Following their mission to ‘create the most personal luxury shopping experience in the world’, Matches Fashion have opened their very own retail, event and creative broadcasting space at 5 Carlos Place, Mayfair, London.

The five-storey townhouse which has been lovingly restored and renovated by P Joseph will be used to host a variety of events ranging from retail to culture and lifestyle which customers can attend.

Customers that are unable to attend the events in person will be able to access livestreams and podcasts anytime and anyplace, these along with the packed schedule of events can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page at MATCHESFASHION.COM.

5 Carlos Place boasts two floors of retail space including a courtyard garden, two floors of private shopping suites, an attic containing an open kitchen and the broadcasting hub that will amplify events globally.

The flexible space can be transformed and re-imagined specifically for each installation or event meaning that no two events will look the same therefore it would be a pity to miss out, however it’s not the end of the world as the hub will be making content from all floors accessible to any of the website’s 100 million visitors online or via mobile.

Customers looking for a private shopping consultation can also use mobile technology to be able to access the full product range deliverable to 5 Carlos Place within 90 minutes.

To honour the opening of the grand space on the September 4, Matches Fashion showcased the new, fully shoppable Prada collection featuring an eighty-piece womenswear and thirty-piece menswear capsule as an extension to the AW18 runway collection.

5 Carlos Road’s event programme will run everyday with more than 43 events scheduled for September and October, they include Mario Sorrenti signing copies of ‘Kate’ – private and unseen images of Kate Moss, an acoustic gig by Theresa Wayman from Warpaint, a supper club with Australian chef Skye Gyness and an exclusive look at 20th century furniture auction pieces from Phillips Auction House.

5 Carlos Place is open now and the Prada collection will be available online at matchesfashion.com
