The male cosmetics industry has been booming over the last few years as the barriers around men’s make-up and grooming continue to be broken down, and the sector has now seen another breakthrough with the launch of the world’s first lipstick for men.

Brighton-based MMUK MAN have been making waves since 2012 with their must-have range of male cosmetics, and as a generation of guys finally get with the times and embrace ways to enhance their look with make-up, the brand have unveiled an exciting new range of natural-look lipstick, for irrestibly kissable lips.

MMUK’s groundbreaking Liquid Velvet Matte Lipstick offers a long-lasting, shimmer-free finish that helps sculpt and accentuate the lips with a masculine, matte finish.

By complimenting your natural skin tone, it’ll keep your lips looking plump and poppin’ all day – and with 12 subtle shades available, you’ll have no problem findind the blend that suits you.

“Modern men are trying every trick in the book to help put their best face forward and are becoming much more open to trying new cosmetic products.” MMUK MAN group president Alex Dalley said.

“Wearing lipstick is just a natural evolution of modern day male grooming.”

YouTube beauty sensation That’s Nathan welcomed the annoucement, saying: “Whilst a decade ago, a facial moisturiser and wash would have made an acceptable grooming routine. Nowadays, it’s not unusual for guys to have the likes of eye cream, concealer, foundation and even beard filler at their disposal.

“It’s incredibly exciting for the industry that the first male lipstick has now launched and my guess is that it won’t be the last.”

MMUK’s Liquid Velvet Matte Lipstick is available now for £21.
