Byredo celebrate same-sex kisses with Eyes Closed fragrance campaign

Beauty brand Byredo has collaborated with photographer Alasdair McLellan for a series of intimate portraits.

The always-innovative beauty brand Byredo has teamed up with photographer Alasdair McLellan for their Eyes Closed fragrance campaign.

Inspired by McLellan’s 2012 famous work ‘The Perfect Kiss’, which saw male models kissing on football pitches and on the street, the intimate campaign reminds us that love has no limits with a series of sensual same-sex kisses.

The Eyes Closed fragrance captures the magic of closing your eyes to shut off one sensorial experience and heighten another. Bringing patchouli and papyrus base notes together with carrot, Orris Butter, Ginger, cinnamon and cardamom, it’s a scent that gives you all the feels.

Together, Byredo and McLellan elegantly capture the heightened emotion and sensation of sharing a kiss, from physical spark to pheromone-filled scent. A decade after ‘The Perfect Kiss’, the Eyes Closed campaign proves simple same-sex connection remains as powerful, beautiful, and inspirational as ever.
