Dublin Pride has much to celebrate this month

By Attitude Magazine

Top of the morning to ya, and all those other cheesy Irish clichés we could mention. Get excited as Dublin Pride once again looks set to be a week (and a bit) to remember, culminating in pride Day on June 27.

Like last year, the celebrations will take place over a ten day period, during which visitors can enjoy all aspects of the city’s gay clubs, bars and other venues. Last year, revellers enjoyed a hairy time at a special spin off Bear Pride, got cosy on Family Day, taxed their brains at a series of quiz nights and partied the night away at the GlitterBomb club night, so expect more of the same this year.

But be wary – if you fancy checking out the Dublin Pride march through the city, be prepared for a bit of pushing and shoving. It’s the largest LGBTQ pride festival in Ireland, with over 35,000 people coming out to march in the flagship event of the festival, it’s going to be a tight squeeze. But who knows who you might meet when you’re rubbing shoulders and whatever else in that crowd. Make sure you charge your phones up for all those numbers you might get!
