Belfast Pride weather: Showers and sunny spells expected

A weekend of mixed weather has been predicted ahead of Belfast Pride tomorrow (Augist 2).

Speaking to attitude.co.uk yesterday (July 31), a Met Office spokesperson confirmed that the city will be sitting on the corner of a large band of heavy rain, meaning that conditions are likely to be both showery and sunny.

While the Met Office has confirmed that weather “could go either way” and there is a risk of heavier rain, the outlook is likely to improve throughout the day, with temperatures expected to reach a mild 17-18C.

Belfast Pride parade will leave from Custom House Square at midday, going down Donegall Street and past City Hall before returning to the start ahead of Party in the Square 2014.

The event runs throughout the afternoon and will see performances from fun-loving girlband Stooshe, former X Factor contestant Misha B and more. For more information visit the Belfast Pride website.
