Zayn Malik pulled out of last weekends Capital FM’s Summertime Ball just two hours before he was set to go onstage.

Later that evening, Malik took to Twitter to apologise explaining that his anxiety was the reason he pulled out of the show.

He wrote, “Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me.”

But now it looks like Malik is asking Adele for help.

The Sunday Mirror

claims that the former One Direction star’s management have been in touch with Adele hoping to help Malik with his anxiety because its “having a major impact on his career.”

Several years ago Adele, who is set to headline Glastonbury Festival next weekend, said she would never play in festivals because she couldn’t cope with the size of the crowd.

She said, “I have anxiety attacks, constant panicking on stage, my heart feels like it’s going to explode because I never feel like I’m going to deliver, ever.”

“I will not do festivals,” she adds. “The thought of an audience that big frightens the life out of me.”
