Watch ‘OITNB’ star take on anti-gay preacher on subway

A video of Orange Is the New Black actress Lea DeLaria taking on an anti-gay preacher on the New York subway has appeared online.
DeLaria, who plays feisty butch inmate ‘Big Boo’ on the hit Netflix series, leapt to the defence of the LGBT community after a homophobic preacher told the subway carriage that America’s problems are caused by homosexuality.
“You have no right! You have no right!” DeLaria told the preacher. “Get off this train! Other people believe other things, and have every right to believe other things on this planet and in this world. We do not have to be force-fed this man’s religious beliefs. Jesus never said for you to do this! Not anywhere in the Bible!”
She continued: “Don’t come at me, because I went to f**king Catholic school for 12 years, and I know every line.”
When the preacher refused to back down, the actress added: “This is mass transportation and as long as you keep talking, I’ll keep talking!”
