Watch: Hillary Clinton chats with gay voter in new campaign video

A new video released by the Hillary Clinton campaign shows the presidential candidate discussing her recent decision to support equal marriage as a U.S. constitutional right.
Clinton has been releasing short videos documenting casual conversations she’s been having with voters in the key state of Iowa, on what she’s calling ‘a listening tour’. In this one, Clinton speaks to Mike Yowell over coffee in a diner in Council Bluffs, and he thanks her for supporting equal marriage.
“I was thrilled when you recently urged the Supreme Court to rule in favor of marriage equality,” he says. “I was like, ‘That’s our gal!'” Yowell goes on to tell Clinton about how he and his partner adopted a child from an underprivileged background in the late 1980s.
Clinton admits she has evolved on the issue of marriage equality. Having previously advocated for the measure to be dealt with by individual states internally, this week she declared her support for it to be introduced constitutionally across the entire country.
This week Attitude spoke to the gay couple who featured in Clinton’s campaign announcement video. The pair, who plan to marry in summer, revealed they have invited the former First Lady to attend their big day.
