In the latest, not entirely shocking, twist to Yusaf Mack’s gay porn scandal, the American ex-boxer has come out as gay in a tell-all interview with FOX 29.

“I’m gay. I’m tired of holding it in, you know, it is what it is. I live my life. I’m gay,” said the father of 10, who added that he came to terms with his sexuality about eight years.

Mack was thrust into the media spotlight last week after he was identified in a gay threesome porn video. He initially claimed he was drugged on set, then retracted that and said he was bisexual, after porn company DawgPoundUSA threatened to sue him.

Now, Mack has admitted that everything he’s said since the video surfaced was “all a lie to try to cover myself up”.

He said he only did the one video and never expected anyone to actually see it – anyone who knew him, at least. He also revealed that his oldest child, a 23-year-old daughter, told him to kill himself, which he did consider doing.

Mack’s not suicidal anymore, though. “I’m free. I’m happy,” he said.

He’s made up with his ex-fiancée of five years, and also apologised to the public in the interview.

‘The truth is out, and I’m sorry,’ he said. ‘You gon’ like me or love me regardless. I’m still me. So when you see me on the streets, I’m still Yusaf Mack.’
