A trans man has been jailed for sexually assaulting two women with a prosthetic penis.

Carlos Delacruz – who hasn’t fully transitioned – pretended to have sex with his victims using a ‘flesh and blood’ prosthetic penis but the two women suffered ‘extreme pain’ and thrush after not knowing what he used to penetrate them.

The 35 year old was reported to the police and arrested but refused to comment during the interviews, however, during a medical examination, it was found that he did not have a penis.

He has been jailed for three years and given a five-year non-harassment order against the women and was added to the sex offenders’ registers indefinitely.

His solicitor Cameron Tait revealed Carlos had been born female in Madrid but changed his name when he turned 16 and his gender is now officially recognised as male on his birth certificate, the Daily Mail reported.

However, he has not gone through the full transition and Tait said Carlos used the prosthetic penis because he “considers it to be part of him”.

Sheriff Stirling revealed his acts have caused “physical and psychological harm” to both women, with one of the victims claiming he made her feel it was her fault she wasn’t falling pregnant.

The second victim was reported said to have “bled for days” after have sex with him around 10 times over an eight-month period and suffers from “difficulty with eating and sleeping”.

Both women said they believed he had a real penis and refused to allowed them to see him naked and always had sex with the lights out.

Kirsten Cockburn, fiscal depute, told the court: “The accused was in a relationship with one of the women between May 2013 and January 2016 and they first had sex in May 2013.

“She believe she was being penetrated by his penis. The accused does not have a penis. She knew he was self-conscious about his body and always wore a T-shirt.

“[On one occasion] the accused turned his back [while in bed together] and she heard him with a [condom] wrapper.

“The accused turned around and inserted his penis into her. During intercourse he would hold on to the base of the penis with his hand.

“During their relationship, the woman continued to believe he had a penis.”

The couple ended their relationship in January 2016 and the victim told police that she found out Carlos didn’t have a penis and had been lying to her.

He then began another relationship in August of the same year after meeting at work and dated for two months before moving in together.

She also believed he had a penis but on the first occasion she told him to stop because she was bleeding.

During their nine-month relationship, she contracted thrust after having sex around 10 times but she found the truth when they stopped dating in 2017.

Now, Carlos is in a new relationship with a woman who knows he using a prosthetic penis.
