Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black plan to keep their son off social media and completely private.

The couple welcomed their son, Robbie, back in June via surrogacy and have since they have teased their social media followers little snippets of their son’s new life.

However, while speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live In Short, they revealed they will be keeping his face off social media until all their family and friends have met Robbie first.

The Olympic diver said: “We have not shown his face on any kind of social media or any kind of media platform and we plan to continue to do that, mainly because there’s so many members of our family that are yet to meet him.

“From Texas to Plymouth to, you know, all over the United States and all over the world, you know, our friends in Australia, all these places, and we want people to meet him in person first before they see him on social media.”

Black then joked: “And also, he is so cute. He is going to make every other parent in the world feel terrible.

“He is so adorable. Why would we do that?”

When asked whether they will eventually show Robbie’s face on social media, Daley revealed that they plan to keep him completely private.

He added: “I think for right now, the plan is to keep him completely private until he has some kind of say in the matter.”
