Teen boy punched in the face during an alleged homophobic hate crime in Oxford
The police are appealing for any witnesses to the attack

A 16-year-old boy was repeatedly punched in the face during an alleged homophobic hate crime at a fun fair.
According to the Oxford Mail, the teenager was attacked twice while attending the fun fair in Abington, Oxford, earlier this month.
The victim was reportedly approached by a group of young people and one of the assaulted the boy in an ‘unprovoked homophobic attack’.
After being attacked, the boy fled towards an alleyway where he was attacked again. The group continued to punch him in the face and he was left battered with a broken nose.
Investigating officer PC Carly Meads, who is based at Abingdon police station, told the paper: “This was a frightening experience for the victim.
“I am urging anyone who believes that they recognise the description of the offenders to come forward.
“I am appealing to anybody was at the fair in the area at the time of the offence who believes that they may have any information to contact the non-emergency number on 101, quoting the reference number 43190312410.”
