Ted Cruz: It doesn’t make any sense to allow grown adult men in a bathroom with little girls

By Fabio Crispim

Trump recently came out against HB2

, the North Carolina law that bars transgender people from using the bathroom of the gender with which they identify. Caitlyn Jenner also released a video of her visiting the women’s restroom in Trump Tower and then emerges and says, “Thank you, Donald, I really appreciate it. And, by the way Ted, nobody got molested.”

Gay Star News reports that Ted Cruz made an appearance on the news show, Meet The Press, and, when asked about Caitlyn’s Jenner’s video, decided to sidestep and instead talk about men in female bathrooms.

“If you pass a law… that says any adult man can go into a girls’ restroom if he feels like a woman at the minute… the real danger is not people who are transgender. It’s people who are predators, who use that law as an excuse to go target our kids.”

He continues, “It doesn’t make any sense to allow grown adult men, strangers, to be alone in a bathroom with little girls.”

“And virtually all Americans understand that,” he said.
