‘Red Hot’ exhibition to return to London next week

The Red Hot exhibition is making a return to London after a hugely successful launch in December last year.

The exhibition is the brainchild of photographer Thomas Knights and features portraits of numerous hot ginger guys,  including actors, models and former Attitude cover star Greg Rutherford.

Explaining the impetus behind Red Hot on Facebook, Knights says: “In the UK and throughout the world, being ginger and male comes with many stigmas attached. Many are bullied at school and for some, even later in life… Red Hot holds a mirror up to the pre-conceived limitations we put on the red-headed males.”

He adds: “Essentially, what I’m doing is creating an exciting and revealing exhibition showcasing a positive outlook on the red-haired male, and aiming to re-brand the ginger male stereotype along the way.”

Red Hot has already spawned a calendar, and there is an accompanying art book to come later this year, which can be purchased now on fundraising site Kickstarter.

The Red Hot exhibition will be returning to London at a yet-to-be-announced location in Covent Garden for three weeks, beginning next Saturday (May 10). The exhibition will be open from 10am to 8pm each day.
