A Spar employee has refused to serve a customer after he overheard him making homophobic comments about a fellow shopper.
The gay man, identified only as Colm, was shopping in the Baggot Street store in Dublin, when the other shopper referred to him as a “faggot”.
He posted about the experience on Facebook, and his account has now gone viral, after being shared by drag queen Panti Bliss. The screengrab has been liked more than 20,000 times.
