Pharrell Williams will perform at the 2014 Brit Awards next month.

The singer – who is currently number one on the UK’s Official Singles Chart with his latest track Happy – joins the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Bastille on the line-up for the ceremony.

“I always look forward to seeing the artists that come together on the Brits stage,” Williams said. “I’m so humbled by this opportunity – performing at the awards will be surreal.”

Pharrell scored three UK number one singles during 2013, with his collaborations with Daft Punk and Robin Thicke both passing the million sales barrier.

Meanwhile, Happy has already sold over 500,000 copies since its initial release in November. It topped the charts at the end of December, and has since spent a total of three works at the top of the chart.

Bastille and Disclosure lead this year’s Brit Award nominations after being nominated together in the same four categories.
