Nigella Lawson court arrival

Nigella Lawson is to give her first UK TV interview since her legendary court appearances last year (2013).

The much-loved TV chef will make an appearance on Michael McIntyre’s new BBC One chat show on March 31.

According to the BBC, Nigella will appear for a “foodie chat [based] around her latest series of books”, in the episode set to air in just under two weeks.

The sexy chef appeared in court last December to give evidence against her former personal assistants, who were accused of fraud but ultimately found not guilty.  The trial drew huge media attention after Nigella admitted to taking cocaine, but denied taking the drug regularly.

Discussing the trial with Good Morning America last month (February), Nigella said: “To have not only your private life, but distortions of your private life, put on display is mortifying, but there are people going through an awful lot worse.”

She continued: “To dwell on any of it would be self pity, and I don’t like to do that.”

Nigella’s interview with Michael McIntyre will air on March 31 on BBC One at 10:35pm.
