Mutya Keisha Siobhan have hinted that “good news” is on its way.

The reunited girlband – a.k.a. the original Sugababes – released comeback single Flatline in September and saw it stall at a disappointing Number 50 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart.

Though the trio embarked on a well-received UK tour in November, they have yet to announce details of a follow-up single and album, and were relatively quiet – Mutya’s legendary Instagram aside – over Christmas and the New Year.

However, the band tweeted from its official account earlier today (January 15): “And just like that we have the biggest grin 😉 #Goodnews 2014”

At the time of writing, there have been no confirmed sightings of Mutya actually smiling.

Earlier this week, Heidi Range admitted that she and the fellow resident Sugababes “don’t have any plans” to work together “in the near future”.
