Mum wouldn’t let this gay man teach her kids to dance – and his response is epic

Proving that totally bonkers homophobia is still alive and kicking in middle England, one mum has pulled her kids out of a local dance class after learning that their teacher is gay.
Michael Neri, a 26-year-old drama teacher from Kidderminster, has shared a message he received from a parent who informed him that her children would not be attending his class because his “lifestyle” clashed with her ‘Christian’ beliefs.
Thankfully though, Michael decided to write back to to the concerned mother in question, saying – well, we don’t want to spoil it for you…
“Regards”.
Michael, who set up the Home of Talking Props Theatre School in 2014, told Metro.co.uk: “When I first saw the message I had to read it through twice. “I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it was still a hurtful thing to receive.”
He continued: “I didn’t want to upset anyone, but I needed to protect myself and my organisation, so I thought I would reply in a polite manner.”
Revealing his message has gone unanswered thus far, he added that all children are welcome to his drama school.
“If the mother changes her mind then her children are more than welcome to attend classes here – I certainly don’t blame them for the way their mother thinks.”
