A man has been arrested after threatening to ‘kill every gay person’ at PrideFest in St Louis.

According to the St Louis Post-Dispatch, Edward Terry, from Missouri, sent a terrorist threat to one of PrideSTL’s parade planners threatening to ‘come to pride fest with my guns to kill every gay person I can before I kill myself’.

The manager of the parade contacted the FBI and the email was tracked back to Terry.

Terry told police he created the account using the name of a woman he used to live with. Terry was charged and his bail was set at $20,000 and is cash only.

St Louis’ PrideFest is scheduled for June 29 and 30.
