Anthony Gooden and Marquez Tolbert were sleeping when Blackwell, the boyfriend of Gooden’s mother, walked in and attacked them.

Tolbert was hospitalised for 10 days while boyfriend, Gooden, was just recently released from hospital.

Now, reported by WSB radio, Blackwell may face up to 80 years in prison. In the news release by the district attorney, Blackwell is facing two counts of aggravated assault and eight counts of aggravated battery.

He is also facing a hate-crime investigation by the FBI for the attack.
