LA Galaxy’s Robbie Rogers poses for latest ‘Attitude’

Out football star Robbie Rogers has posed for the latest Attitude – including the cover.
The LA Galaxy player came out in February 2013 and speaks candidly in his 14-page cover feature about his struggle to get to grips with his sexuality in a predominantly heterosexual environment.
On being a closeted gay footballer, 26-year-old Rogers says: “Definitely in my career there were so many times when I struggled with my mental health. That affected the way I played.”
Later in the interview, he admits: “25 years of self-hate doesn’t go away just because you come out.”
