Israel Folau has epically been roasted after unknowingly donating to an LGBTQ youth charity.

The disgraced Australia rugby star has continually voiced his homophobic opinions on social media and recently blamed deadly bush fires on the country’s legalisation of same-sex marriage.

But now, the Wallabies star has unknowingly donated to LGBTQ group Rainbow Youth after staff at the Auckland restaurant, Gorilla Kitchen, donated his payment to the charity.

In a social media post, the restaurant said: “Rainbow Youth donation from Israel Folau… Seems strange doesn’t it?

“Well we are proud to say that Israel Folau and his wife Maria Folau have inadvertently shown their support to Rainbow Youth.

“We don’t turn anyone away at Gorilla Kitchen, because we love everyone, not just animals.

“So when Israel and Maria came in again a couple of weeks ago we happily served them, hydrated them and fed them.

“What they didn’t realise was their money spent at Gorilla Kitchen was going to be donated to Rainbow Youth, an organisation that embraces diversity and offers support for our young and vulnerable rainbow community.

“Glad to see they are not #notashamed for supporting such a great cause.

“If you’d like to support a great charity then head over to @rainbowyouth”

Gorilla Kitchen is owned and operated by a lesbian family and has been praised for its quick thinking donation which is obviously going to leave the rugby player a little red in the face.
