Gogglebox's Chris Steed sets date for wedding

star Christopher Steed has officially set a summer date for his wedding with fiancé Tony Butland.

The pair got engaged on the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris last year and they have now confirmed they will be getting married on July 8th.

Steed revealed it all on Twiter, writing: “It’s official… I can’t sing Beyoncé anymore thanks to Tony Butland x”

Steed stars on Gogglebox alongside his former partner, Stephen Webb, who is also engaged to his boyfriend.

The pair recently revealed why they didn’t work out as a couple and, speaking to the Gay UK, Steed revealed some of his upcoming plans which including wearing a £3,000 suit from Dolce and Gabbana, however his soon-to-be husband won’t be.

“He did turn around and say to me, ‘Because you just spent three thousand pounds on a Dolce and Gabbana suit, does that mean I get a Dolce and Gabbana suit for the wedding?’ I said, ‘If you pay for it, of course.'”

The star then joked that the ceremony will be private, unless OK magazine decides to do a photo feature.
