Gay in a small town? We want to hear from you…

By Josh Haggis

Our editor is looking to hear from gay people who don’t live in any of the UK’s big cities for possible inclusion in his forthcoming book and potentially in an issue of Attitude also.

We want to hear about your experience of living in more rural areas or small villages and towns in the UK: What is life like for you? Are you glad to be away from the big gay scene hubs or do you miss being able to easily access the scene?  What are the pros and cons? What’s your experience of homophobia? Are people accepting or not? How do you meet other gay people? Or do you not bother? What role do apps like Grindr play in your life?

Many people believe there is a significant drug problem on the gay scene. Is it just in cities like London, Manchester and Birmingham or do you see drug use around you outside of major cities? Nothing will be used at this stage, we’re just looking to hear about what’s going on. No names or details will be published with our your permission.
