Fashion designer Alexander Wang faces new sexual assault allegation
Mr Wang 'robustly' denies all claims made against him, as lawyer says she's now representing 11 men with misconduct allegations

Fashion designer Alexander Wang is facing a new claim of sexual assault.
New York City-based student Keaton Bullen has alleged to the BBC that Mr Wang assaulted him at a nightclub in 2019.
Mr Wang has ‘robustly’ denied all claims made against him. Lawyer Lisa Bloom says she is now representing 11 men with misconduct allegations against Wang.
“All of a sudden he unzipped my trousers”
Bullen told the publication that he and a friend encountered Wang at NYC’s Fishbowl club on 24 August 2019.
After chatting, Wang offered them vodka at his table before leading them to the dancefloor, where Wang then allegedly assaulted Bullen.
“All of a sudden he unzipped my trousers, put his hands in my pants and started grabbing my penis in front of a bunch of people,” claimed Bullen. “I completely froze.”
“He then said: ‘I want to take you home with me,’” alleged Bullen, a student at Parsons School of Design. “I felt weirded out… and removed myself from the situation as fast as possible.”
Bullen is not taking legal action and has asked that his photo is not used out of concern the public would accuse him of attention seeking. He said he’s speaking out to support other accusers who have been called “liars”.
Paul Tweed, a lawyer for Wang, says he is awaiting club CCTV footage from the night which he said his “client believes will totally disprove this allegation.”
He separately told The Sun Online: “The nightclub has told me they are getting the CCTV but it is not certain when. Those are my instructions at the moment.”
In December 2020, 26-year-old model Owen Mooney took to TikTok to make allegations against Wang.
He claims Wang assaulted him at a crowded gig in a nightclub in January 2017, saying: “I was by myself at one point and this guy next to me obviously took advantage of the fact that no one could move.
“And he just started touching me up. Fully up my leg, in my crotch. It made me freeze completely because I was in so much shock.”
Further anonymous allegations against Wang, including by models who are trans, were made on the Instagram fashion watchdog accounts @DietPrada and @ShitModelManagement.
Mooney, who is represented by lawyer Lisa Bloom, hit out on Instagram at the lack of response to the allegations, which impact “male, queer and trans” people, from the fashion and film industries.
“It seems #MeToo quite possibly could be lacking in inclusivity,” he said.
David Casavant is also among the 11 represented by Bloom. Gia Garrison, a trans woman, has also made a public allegation against Wang.
Wang has called the allegations “baseless and grotesquely false”, adding he would “hold accountable” those responsible for spreading them.
In a statement issued at New Year he added: “Seeing these lies about me being perpetuated as truths has been infuriating.
“I have never engaged in the atrocious behaviour described and would never conduct myself in the manner that’s been alleged.”
Attitude has approached a rep for Wang for further comment.
