Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star to be removed
The star has been vandalised multiple time since Trump went into politics

President Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star will be removed, according the West Hollywood City Council.
After the former reality TV star got into politics, his star – which he got for hosting The Apprentice back in 2007 – has been damaged and destroyed multiple times with one man smashing the star with a pickaxe this July.
Other vandalism included building a wall around it, spray painting it with a swastika and being vandalised with stickers.
But now, West Hollywood Mayor John Duran tweeted that the West Hollywood Council have unanimously decided to remove the star.
He wrote: “West Hollywood City council unanimously passes resolution asking the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the Donald Trump star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

After the most recent vandalism, the Hollywood Historic Trust had planned to restore the star immediately but said it would require several days of “seasoning before it is polished”.
Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Leron Gubler told Entertainment Weekly: “The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an institution celebrating the positive contributions of the inductees.
“When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California State landmark.
“Our democracy is based on respect for the law. People can make a difference by voting and not destroying public property.”
