‘Cucumber’s Freddie Fox on sexuality: ‘I wouldn’t want to limit myself’

By Will Stroude

With just a week to go until the show’s launch, Cucumber star Freddie Fox discussed his sexuality, saying that he would not ever “limit” himself.

The 25-year-old – who has previously played gay characters in Pride and Boy George biopic Worried About the Boy – told the London Evening Standard that filming the hotly-anticipated Channel 4 show made him realise that “we’re all on a sliding scale” sexually.

“My relationships have all been with women up to this point”, he said, adding, “but that does not mean they will be for the rest of my life.

“I would not want to limit myself in that way. That would be utterly ridiculous.”

Of the show’s more explicit scenes, Fox added that although sex scenes tend to be “famous for their lack of sexiness and passion when it comes to filming them, these ended up being really involving, sexy experiences.”
