Collabro surprise theatre-goers with ‘Les Mis’ performance

winners Collabro took to the stage at the West End performance of Les Miserables last night (August 13).

The musical theatre boyband surprised the audience by joining the cast for the show’s curtain call, singing the songs Bring Him Home and Stars from the musical and earning themselves a standing ovation in the process.

Band member Jamie Lambert said of the performance: “It was a true honour to perform at the curtain call of the ultimate West End show, Les Miserables. All our dreams are coming true this year.”

Les Miserables‘ producer Cameron Mackintosh explained he was “delighted” to play host to the boyband, adding: “I look forward to our musicals supplying Simon Cowell with many more hits in the future!”

The group’s debut album, Stars, will be released on Monday (August 18), and features covers of several musical theatre classics including Somewhere from West Side Story and Anthem from Chess.
