Attitude is seeking a full-time Web Reporter

Salary – £20,000 per annum

THE ROLE

This position reports to the Web Editor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce new content and writing on subject matters of interest to the Attitude audience and as directed by the Web Editor
• Source images and artwork
• Assist with any commissioning of other writers, commentators and photographers where necessary as directed by Web Editor
• Liaise with other members of the editorial team, advertising and technical support when required
• Work with the commercial team to explore all opportunities are being explored
• Ensure that content is added to the website news channel on a regular basis throughout the day and that this promoted across social media platforms as directed by the Web Editor
• Work with the magazine editorial team to create content from the magazine to be featured on the website
• Be responsible for Attitude TV and provide regular video content each week
• Be able to film and edit video content for the website such as Attitude Magazine behind the scenes photo shoot campaigns, interviews etc.
• Be responsible for all aspects of the website including advertising content when the Web Editor is away from the office

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Two years experience of working on a news or entertainment website
• Experience of using a content management website
• Familiar with all aspects of social media and SEO techniques
• Ability to create interesting and exciting news stories and campaigns
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Be able to undertake research using a variety of sources
• Be creative and able to alter their style of writing to reflect the Attitude audience across several platforms
• Be able to multi-task and prioritise rapidly changing work schedules
• Be computer literate and possess quick and accurate typing skills
• Be able to create schedules and agree deadlines
• Be able to follow style guidelines and client briefs
