An RAF reservist has been told the military will turn a blind eye to his day job as a gay porn star so long as he doesn’t perform in his uniform.

Marc McAulay quit the RAF to pursue gay porn full time, but retains a role as a spare time reservist, reports The Times.

A rising star in gay porn who was this year nominated for a Prowler Award, McAulay has said he is “shocked” by how accepting the Ministry of Defense has been over his second career.

“The occasional joke here and there”

“I was actually really shocked at how decent the RAF and the MoD were about me going into the industry and still being a reservist,” the Edinburgh native told the newspaper.

“All the guys in my squadron are also fully aware of what I do and despite the occasional joke here and there everyone was really accepting which was great.”

McAulay – who also must not mention the force in his porn shoots – also discussed health and safety in the interview, saying: “Every performer who works in the industry with a legitimate agency goes through regular screenings. Before each shoot that you book in for you are given a private health check which costs the agency about £600 each time.

“During this they test your bloods for HIV, screen you for any STIs and also now give you coronavirus testing.”
