Adam Lambert has launched a new foundation aiming to support LGBTQ human rights.
The Feel Something Foundation (FSF) was founded by the American Idol runner-up and Queen frontman back in 2019 as a result of a career travelling the world and meeting global members of the community.
FSF aims to ensure support is given to the numerous issues that continue to disproportionately affects them.
Lambert plans to achieve this goal through working with charities that have a mission or project directly focused on impacting the LGBTQ community in areas of education and the arts, homelessness, suicide prevention and mental health.
The singer told Attitude: “I’ve worked with some amazing LGBTQ+ organisations and charities over the years.
“The Feel Something Foundation will shine a light and support existing charities, whose work is pivotal in empowering the community.”
The Foundation also wants to remove the phrase ‘coming out’ as a term used to define someone simply being themselves.
Building its revenue through personal charitable contributions of its found, directors and public funds, the first fundraising event will happen in the coming weeks, with an online clothing auction of some of Lambert’s best looks.
