From Louisa Johnson, Booty Luv and Danny Beard, Croydon Pride 2026 is leaving us on the edge of our seats ahead of its headliner announcement

Croydon Pride is back and free to attend, with a brand new location moving from Wandle Park to BOXPARK to mark the 2026 celebrations.
Croydon Pride 2026 will take place on 15 August in South London, hosting live music, drag performances and community speakers from 1 PM until late.
Located, at most, a minute’s walk from East Croydon Station, BOXPARK will offer street food vendors and bars throughout the day.
Why has Croydon Pride moved to BOXPARK?
Croydon Pride’s Board of Trustees described the move as a “massive leap forward” for the volunteer-ran organisation.
“By bringing the festival to such a central, fully accessible landmark, we’re ensuring that Pride is more than just an event, it’s an open invitation to our community,” they added.
Drawing attention to recent funding cuts across Prides in the UK, such as Manchester Pride going into liquidation and Pride in London sacking its former CEO, Croydon Pride continues to honour the community.
Is Croydon Pride free to attend?
“At a time when so many Pride celebrations across the UK are sadly facing cancellation due to funding challenges, we are incredibly proud to keep Croydon Pride free to attend,” said the Board.
“We’re taking the incredible energy of Wandle Park and amplifying it within a venue that perfectly captures the bold, urban heartbeat of Croydon.”
With headliners for 2026 to be announced in early summer, Croydon Pride has a legacy of drag icons and pop divas who have graced the South London stage.
Who has performed at Croydon Pride?
From Louisa Johnson, Booty Luv and The Cheeky Girls to Lady Leshurr, Danny Beard, Krystal Versace and Sophia Stardust, the event has welcomed its fair share of stars over the years.
