Circuit Festival hits Barcelona

Circuit Festival is the largest LGBT festival in the world, running from August 2-4, with the female-focused Girlie Circuit running from August 9-14. Both offer culture, athletics, and entertainment during the day – and plenty parties once the sun goes down.
Last year, Circuit Festival drew in almost 72,000 people, with 80% of those being international festival-goers from places like Brazil, the United States, Australia, Israel, the United Kingdom, France and Italy. And the turnout is set to be just as international this year.

The festival continues in Ibiza from 18th to 21st August. And it doesn’t stop there, with the global party making its way through over 60 cities, including New York, Paris, London, Las Vegas, Sao Paulo, Lisbon, and Rome.
Circuit isn’t just about partying, though. As the organisers point out, “for many of its attendees, some of whom come from countries that aren’t very tolerant of homosexuality, the festival represents a unique opportunity to be freely visible, socialise, or reunite with their circles of friends in a cosmopolitan and respectful environment.”
The programme includes 23 world-famous parties such as La Leche!, Klubberdome, Pervert, We Party, Papa Party, Megawoof, and Forever Tel Aviv. You can also make a splash at the special “Water Park Day” on Tuesday, August 9 at L’Illa Fantasia.

Tickets and prices:
Advance tickets and passes for the parties are already on sale on the websites www.circuitfestival.net and www.girliecircuit.net. The prices range from €20 (the cheapest ticket) to €400, for the pass that grants free access to all the parties.
