Yasmin Finney keeps her Attitude Pride Icon award in her bag

Yasmin Finney has shared that she (sometimes) keeps her Attitude Pride Icon award in her bag and, naturally, we love it!
As part of British Vogue’s ‘In The Bag’ series the 18-year-old Heartstopper and Doctor Who star sat down to reveal what items she keeps in her quilted Miu Miu bag.
She starts off by pulling out some shades and some body oil that she carries everywhere, as well as some La Roche-Posay skincare.
Yasmin also shows off some Fenty Beauty powder. “My make-up for me is a way of expressing myself, and it’s also kind of like armour for me to go out into society and navigate it as a trans woman,” she explains.
Setting spray, house keys, Soap and Glory hand cream, perfume, and her cardholder follow before she shares her Attitude Pride Icon award.
“Now, I bet you’re thinking why does Yasmin have her Attitude award in her bag?” Yasmin begins. “Obviously, I don’t carry this around all the time just in the times where, you know, I need a little bit of motivation. It’s got my name on it and it says ‘Pride Icon’.
She goes on to say that the award “wasn’t just a win for me, it was a win for the whole community in the sense that we are being seen.”
She also shows us that she carries her AirPods, her contact lenses (and spares), hormones, and of course, her phone as well.
Yasmin won her Attitude Pride Icon award at the 2022 Attitude Pride Awards, in association with Magnum.
The awards were presented to individuals or groups who’ve changed the world for LGBTQ people.
