A new queer art collection celebrating the beauty of the male form is injecting a shot of raw testosterone into the start of the working week.

Curated by Paddle8 and the co-founder of London’s The Little Black Gallery, Ghislain Pascal, ‘Boys! Boys! Boys!’ is putting casting an erotic eye back on the male body in an attempt to “shift the focus of visual pleasure off Grindr”.

Featuring works by emerging photographers and world-renowned artists like Andy Warhol, Wolfgang Tillmans and Allen Ginsberg, the collection is currently up for auction, with individual piece starting from $350.

‘Lovebite’, Ferry Van Der Nat

Ghislain says: “Curating this sale has been really interesting as I have discovered many new talents, including Ryker Allen, Levi Foster, Thomas McCarthy, Ferry van der Nat, and AdeY.

“Queer and gay photography is blossoming right now and I’m happy to be bringing such a great mix of new work and older classics to attention. Contemporary photographers are continuing a tradition that’s been around for centuries, since Caravaggio and Rubens were delighting in the sensual male form.”

‘Boys! Boys! Boys!’, a sale curated by Ghislain Pascal of The Little Black Gallery for Paddle8 is now live, closing 19 March.
